Advise for tyres and service needed...
Hi all,
my Lithuanian is not present so I write in English - hope this is ok as well. I need some advice regarding the following issues (car: E39, 525iA, Facelift, 141kw, sedan):
1. The "watch" in my car indicating a service started to glow several days ago - it seems that the oil needs to be replaced. How much is the price for an "ordinary" oilservice in Vilnius (oil 0W 40, filter, mircrofilter)? There is still EuroPlus guarantee on the car, therefore I would prefer to do the service with BMW. Is the official BMW dealer here reliable?
2. I need winter tyres (complete wheels, steel rims are fine). I thought about Goodyear Ultragrip 7+ or Dunlop Sport Winter, dimension: 205/65/15 T. Can anyone recommend a dealer who is offering such wheels for a good price? My best price so far is 140 € each if I order them through internet from Germany....maybe the local BMW-Dealer sells wheels too....?
Thanks already for any suggestions.

There is an address and a phone number of official Bmw dealer in Lithuania below, i think that they can help you about oil changing and maybe winter tyres.
Ozo g. 10A, 08200 Vilnius
Phone number. 8-5 274 04 40,
faks. 8-5 274 04 44,
e-mail: office@bmw.lt

While talking about tyres, try to contact Wialniaz (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=123" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) from our forum, maybe he will be able to help you

Hi! Official BMW dealer in Lithuania is Krasta Auto, Modis has posted their contacts. I don't know the price they take for oil service, but it's definetely most expensive place as it is official. On the other hand, quality has its price As it is official service, it can guarantee for their work. I have never heared any complaints about service quality there.
As for the tyres, I'd give you the same advise as Tokis. If you are searching for the best price, contact member Wialniaz. You may call him 8 681 40671, he speaks english fluently.

Hello,
as the people above have mentioned, i can help you with the tyres. If you're looking for quality, Ultragrip is your best bet. The stuff above is overpriced, while the cheaper rubber is significantly worse.
I can get you those for 350LTL, around 102 eur a pop, while winter rims shouldn't be hard and expensive to get as well.
PM, email arturask@gmail.com, or call me to +370 681 40671
PS: i suggest you avoid the official BMW dealer for those things. You will end up paying twice the value.
Cheers

And by the way, Krasta Auto doesn't sell tyres Probably they can order some if you request but that wouldn't be a reasonable choise.
